LANGTANG VALLEY VS ANNAPURNA BASE CAMP

How many of us have been to Langtang Valley? How many to Annapurna Base Camp? Langtang Valley and  Annapurna Base Camp are just WOW for trekkers from all walks of life. These are highly recommended by Trekking Top Nepal when you plan to undergo trekking in Nepal.

Langtang Valley Trek is the most used trekking route in  Nepal & yet not so busy like other famous ( Everest Base Camp, Annapurna Base Camp Trek ) trekking route so, if you’re up-top peace full exquisite trekking then this must be the best choice for you. Langtang Valley offers you the elegant mountain views from the first day of your trek & within a short period of your trek you’ll be in the lap of snowcapped peaks & glaciers.

And if you’re daring enough & eager to climb there are few peaks you can try too; Yala peak(5500 m) which will take 2 days or Naya kanga but it is more complicated & requires permit too.

Since Langtang Valley is larger in the area & it will be more comfortable to camp here comparing to other trekking route but you can choose to stay in tea houses. Or you can camp further from Kyanjin Gompa which is the last inhabited village in the Valley or crosses the Ganja La Pass. There are no tea houses until Tarkeghyang in this trekking region as we should traverse through forests. Brace yourself!  You’ll pass through & if you happen to trek in spring you’ll get to witness the elegant greeneries of oaks & bamboo. Also, it’s very pleasant for a peaceful walk after an exhausted climbing.

The locals of Langtang valley are very nice & welcoming. They’re grateful if you step into their guesthouse & they will serve you with such kindness.

It is also a national park so you’ll get to see many interesting wild animals like Deer,Huge Falcons & colourful lizards which can be rarely witnessed in other trekking route.

Annapurna Base Camp Trek is one of the most famous trekking routes of Nepal throughout the world. It’s the most used trekking route which is itself a beauty because the journey to Base Camp itself contains steady trekking that passes through the regions village and brimming terrains then you can observe the peaks of snows and eyes pampering glaciers the blackened rocks cover by snow makes you believe you are somewhere between heaven such is it’s beauty.

Annapurna Base Camp route is covered with gorgeous views & massive peaks. The vantage point of Poonhill is one of the most famous  vantage points of the region where you can relax upon the entire panorama view of Annapurna Mountain.
