Deepak Khanal, Nepalese kingpin of Osho Adventure (formerly known as Osho World Adventure Travel), is part of a family with well over a quarter of a century of direct experience in the trekking adventure field of Nepal tourism, and has been involved himself for more than 10 years. In 2009 he founded Osho World Adventure travel, and it has been a source of pleasure and satisfaction to witness the steady growth of the company since then.
Deepak’s early years of education took place in a rural village, south-east of Everest, ever since he completed secondary education in Kathmandu. Deepak has over 10 years of experience in travel and tourism in Nepal and has led many successful treks and climbs in Himalayas of Nepal. Some of the successful treks led by Deepak are Annapurna Poon Hill Ghorepani Ghandruk Trek, Everest Base Camp via Gokyo Trek, Manaslu Circuit Trekking, Tibet Mount Kailash Pilgrimage Tour and many others.
A strong feeling for ethical business, devour for Osho and fair trade underpins Deepak’s insistence that the company employs only Nepalese trekking staff, including leaders, and completes all trade in Nepal, with Nepalese products and services, thus ensuring that all expenditure and profits benefit Nepal and thus contribute towards the tourism development of the country.
